What is a stroke? It is a 'brain attack' involving potentially dangerous and life threatening damages to brain, caused by interruption to its blood supply. Most strokes are caused by cerebral thrombosis (blood clot in brain artery, which is produced by adipose,(fat tissue) making it easier for blood clots to form.

Obesity and stroke: Atherosclerosis,or narrowing of arteries, which leads to the formation of arterial blood clot, which is the precondition for a stroke. It is increased by blood pressure, smoking, high cholesterol and lack of exercise. Obesity is frequently associated with high fat diet, raised blood pressure and lack of exercise.
